MADS is an open-source framework designed to automate data science pipelines using a multi-agent system. By requiring only two inputs, it streamlines the process of generating machine learning models, performing analyses, and producing reports. MADS facilitates rapid prototyping and enables non-technical users to generate predictions effortlessly. Its modular architecture allows for the integration of various tools to enhance forecasting, model optimization, and data visualization, thereby accelerating business decision-making and automating compliance reporting.

MADS demonstrates Level 3 agentic automation (Plan and Reflect) through its multi-agent architecture that autonomously executes full data science pipelines after initial user input. The system handles data processing, model selection/optimization, and report generation without human intervention mid-process. However, it requires explicit problem definition/dataset input from users and lacks Level 4 self-refinement capabilities like modifying its own instructions or creating new tools autonomously. The planned roadmap features (Reinforcement Learning Agent for prompt improvement, visualization agent) would increase autonomy through adaptive learning and expanded operational scope.
