Figure AI's humanoid robots demonstrate advanced autonomy through integrated AI capabilities such as speech-to-speech reasoning powered by OpenAI models, onboard vision language models for visual reasoning, and fully autonomous task execution in industrial settings. The Figure 02 model operates with 3x computational power over its predecessor using NVIDIA RTX GPUs, enabling real-time decision-making without cloud dependency. Its 16-DoF hands and sensor suite allow complex manipulation tasks like part assembly at BMW factories. However, full environmental adaptability and unsupervised learning in novel scenarios remain developmental challenges.
